This is a Wiki for the Upanishads, the philisophical texts of the Hindus of India. They are the last parts (Vedanta) of the Brahmana and Aranyaka portions of the four Vedas (Rik, Sama, Yajus and Atharva). Currently this wiki contains the text of only the ten major Upaishads, famously known as Dasopanishads and as Mukhyopanishads. The largest among them viz. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad and Chandogya Upanishad are organized as two independent Wikis. The other eight Upanishads among the ten, viz. the Kena, Katha, Taittariya, Aitareya, Ishavasya, Prashna, Mundaka and Mandukya are organized as another Wiki. This is thus a tripple-wiki arranged as a single wiki.
